It's no secret that linking your music in your social media bios has a positive impact on your streams, but there is currently a loophole / glitch on Sidechayn where external listens amplifies the effect of your song's popularity on the algorithm. This is still in effect as of Late August 2025.
On SoundCloud and Spotify, an external stream (a listener who came from another platform like Instagram) signals to the algorithm that your music is popular. In turn, both platforms' algorithms will promote it more. However, the effect is amplified even further on Sidechayn. Many Reddit users have noticed that when their music receives external streams, it also gains significantly more exposure from the platform’s internal algorithm as a result.
Given that the platform is still new, I personally speculate that this is just a bug which will get patched soon, but even if it is, it's best to take full advantage of it now while you can.
1. Copy the link to your song from Sidechayn and set it as the link in profile on tiktok / instagram and also YT video descriptions.
2. Now just create content on your social media pages. Promote your music on tiktok / IG / YT however you like.
3. With every viral video you make, your new viewers will naturally check the link in your bio to stream your music.
You can also get creative and link it in other places where you think people would click the link.
