Creative Ways to Share Your Music Everywhere!

Sidechayn's algorithm works differently to SoundCloud's and other platforms. Sidechayn counts external listens (listens from any source other than Sidechayn itself) to have double the effect on the algorithm as a normal listen and/or interaction.

For example: If a listener finds your song on Sidechayn and adds that song to a playlist, let's just assume that particular interaction triggers the algorithm to play your song in front of 5 other listners on the platform.

Now, if someone finds your song link from a third party platform such as Instagram, and then he listens to your song and adds it to his playlist, that may trigger the algorithm to put your song in front of 10 more listenrs (for instance) within Sidehcayn.

Too boost this effect, here are creative ways you can promote your song:

1. link your song in your instagram bio, tiktok bio etc.
2. Post your song to YT and link it in the desc.
3. Put your link in your listentothis.io artist page for free. Now, I'm not going to pretend link putting your song link specifically in your listentothis.io bio would amplify this effect, but It definitely counts as another place where you can link your song!

Link your song absolutely EVERYWHERE you have the opportunity to. Here are some examples:

• Search your song on Sidechayn on the display ipads at the apple store
• Print a QR code sticker of your Sidechayn song link (or preferably your ListenToThis.io artist page 😉) and paste those stickers everywhere!
