Go onto the explore page and look for trending genres with not many other songs. They KEY detail is that the genre in question should not be popular yet. Find an underground genre.
Make music that falls under that particular genre. If the genre is already on the explore page, then it'll be SO easy for you to get listeners on your song.
Just remember to ass that particular genre as a tag on your song!
